How to keep that resolution going

  1. A good pair of running socks will help prevent blisters and keep your feet dry

  2. Stretch your feet before and after running to reduce the risk of injury and improve circulation and recovery

  3. Take breaks. Especially when you’re just starting out, you need to give your feet enough time to recover in between runs

  4. Regularly massaging your feet improves circulation and reduces the risk of injury

  5. If you do have any pain or swelling, apply an ice pack - or a bag of frozen peas - to reduce the inflammation. If the pain continues or worsens, please seek medical advice
